ndrea Lee is an aspiring LPGA Tour Star, highlighted by her winning her first tournament at the Portland Classic in 2022. Lee is a winner in every level. She won nine times at Standford University during her collegiate time and was ranked for 17 weeks playing as the #1 Women's Amateur. After winning the Mark H. McCormack Award as the top-ranked Women's Amateur in the world following the completion of the season in 2019, Lee decided to go pro. Andrea Lee has made a name for herself in the world of professional golf since she was an amateur golfer. The American LPGA Tour athlete has some surprising facts that you might not have known. Andrea Lee, born 15 August 1998 in Los Angeles. James started teaching her daughter golf from the age of five. Her first tournament began when she was 8 and has also won over 50 junior championships in four years. The 2014 US Women's Open was her first tournament cut. McCormack Medal for finishing the year as the most highly-ranked amateur. Lee scored four hole-in ones and one albatross while an amateur. She finished in the top 10 two times throughout her first year on LPGA Tour. She finished seventh in the 2020 AIG Women's Open held at Kingsbarns Golf Links. Lee made an LPGA Tour debut in the Portland Classic of 2022. She dedicated it to her late grandfather Min who passed away in 2012. He always called me a winner and was convinced that I would win. It was a great honor to have him as a grandfather. I was sure he'd be looking on. Lee was previously a soccer player Taekwondo as well as figure skating. In addition to golf, Lee's interests include shopping for movies, singing bowling, and snowboarding.
